Eat, Pray, Love

Almost Alice

You’re bonkers, but don’t worry…all the best people are.

The film wasn’t that bad. Maybe people were expecting way too much from Burton and company. I like it – it wasn’t all too majestic, nothing close to being perfect (however you wish to describe “perfect”) but the movie did refresh my memory about Wonderland.  Being immersed in the adult world without a choice, it was quite a sight to be locked inside Tim Burton’s world for an hour or two. I didn’t mind. It was a good break.

My favorite character? The best one of course: Helena Bonham Carter’s Red Queen was just fab! Don’t you just love her and her big head? And the way she called Alice  “Um” – lovely! Hahaha.

Inspire

Grace Coddington in The September Issue:

You gotta be tougher.

You have to demand because otherwise, you’ll be blamed.

Don’t be too nice, not even to me. No, seriously. Because you’ll lose.

You have to learn to beat your path through – to make yourself felt, and make yourself necessary.

Always keep your eyes open. Never go to sleep in the car, keep watching because whatever you see out the window, wherever – it can inspire.

You can’t stay behind. You have to keep charging.

Color my world with the chaos of trouble
